Features:
All valve keys are lying open in the treble. The treble part is provided with 10 buttons and 1 register. 2 diatonic reed blocks are located inside of it.
The 2 bass keys and the air valve are located in the so called “Brummkasten”. It is called “growl box” because the 3 reed plates, fixed on the underside of a small board, make a noise, that reminds to the growling of a bear. The inside of the bass part disposes on the one side of 1 large reed plate with 3 steel voices and 3 air valves and on the other side of 2 reed plates, 1 with 2 steel voices and 2 air valves, as well as 1 with 1 steel voice and 1 air valve (vide also photos).
The good condition of this instrument allowed a direct use of it.

Nachbauten werden heute noch als „Cajun Folk Button Accordion“ von der Firma Hohner verkauft.

Merkmale: Alle Ventilklappen liegen offen auf der Diskantseite. Diese ist mit 10 Knöpfen und 1 Register versehen. Innseitig befinden sich 2 diatonische Stimmstöcke.
Die Basstasten und das Luftventil befinden sich in einem kleinen Gehäuse, dem sog. „Brummkasten“. Brummkasten wohl deshalb, weil die 3 innseitig auf einem Brett montierten Stimmplatten Töne produzieren, die an das „Brummen eines Bären“ erinnern. Auf der einen Seite des Innengehäuses liegt eine große Stimmplatte mit 3 Stahlzungen und 3 Ventilen, auf der anderen Seite liegen 2 Stimmplatten, 1 mit 2 Stahlzungen und 2 Ventilen, sowie eine mit 1 Stahlzunge und 1 Ventil (s. auch Foto).
Das Instrument befand sich beim Kauf in einem guten, bespielbaren Zustand.

Caracteristicas:
Todos los pistónes de valvula se encuentran fuera del tiple. La parte del tiple fue equipada con 10 bottones y un registro. 2 soportes diatonicos son incorporado en el interior.
Los 2 botones del bajo y la valvula del aire son instalado en el llamado “Brummkasten”, es decir en español: “caja de gruñido”. La se llama así porque los 3 placas de voces, fijado sobre del lado inferior de una pequeña tabla, hace un ruido que acordarse de un osso gruñido.
El interior de la parte del bajo es equipado de un lado de 1 grande placa de voces con 3 lengüetas de acero y 3 valvulas de aire y de otro lado con 2 placas de voces, 1 con 2 lengüetas de acero y 2 valvulas de aire y la otra 1 con 1 legüeta de acero y 1 valvula de aire (vide tambien los fotos).
La buena condición de este instrumento permitía el uso directo.
